3/5 Computer Technician for Winthrop Public Schools
A successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems and their associated education and business software applications. Knowledge of basic networking concepts, server configuration, devices and security. High School diploma or equivalent plus two years of education desired. Certification in technology repair and/or equivalent job experience desired. Must have or acquire a valid State of Maine Criminal History Records Check approval.
Looking for a 3/5 computer technician to work district-wide. The desired candidate will possess the ability to work independently in solving problems and communicating well verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 is preferred. Apple Certification is a plus.

Special Education Behavioral Strategist (282 and/or 286 certification) To work K-12 with the following: Ø Ability to assist in implementing and monitoring Applied Behavior Analysis program
Ø Assist in developing an Autism program in elementary school
Ø Intervene to de-escalate student behaviors
Ø Conduct functional behavioral assessments
Ø Assist teachers in developing and implementing positive behavior support plans
Ø Crisis intervention
Ø Assist students and teachers to process problem situations that arise
Ø Facilitate problem-solving with individual teachers, teams, and students
Ø Communicate with administration, staff and parents informally and formally in meetings
