Directions to Winthrop Schools

Winthrop Grade School

The grade school is located on Highland Avenue. Visitors must sign in at the grade school office before continuing into the building. The Business Office is located in the Town Office also located on Highland Ave.

From Augusta

    Start out going West on WESTERN AVE/US-202/ME-17 toward OLD WINTHROP RD.

    Continue to follow US-202 W through Manchester into Winthrop.

    Continue up the hill where the road splits into four lanes.

     Turn right at the blinking light onto Highland Ave.

    Winthrop Grade School will be on your left.

From Lewiston

    Start out going Northeast on MAIN ST/US-202/ME-100 toward August

    Continue to follow US-202/ME-100 toward Russell St.

    Pass through the first blinking light (Bob Barrows is on the right)

     Turn left at the second blinking light.

    The Winthrop Grade School will be on your left.

Winthrop Middle School and Winthrop High School

From Augusta

    Start out going West on WESTERN AVE/US-202/ME-17 toward OLD WINTHROP RD.

    Continue to follow US-202 W through Manchester into Winthrop.

    Upon entering Winthrop turn right onto 133 after the blinking light.

     Continue on RT 133 just under .2 mile.

    Turn left onto Rambler Road

From Lewiston

     Start out going Northeast on MAIN ST/US-202/ME-100 toward August

    Continue to follow US-202/ME-100 toward Russell St.

      Bear right after the blinking light onto RT 133 (After passing Bob Barrows Chevrolet).

    Continue through the Yield sign approximately .2 mile.

You will see Winthrop High School as you approach the top of Rambler Road. Continue through the parking lot to Winthrop Middle School.
